This Privacy Policy explains how Kothok Soft (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the ScanArena mobile application (“ScanArena” or the “App”). ScanArena is designed to work offline. We do not require an account and we do not operate a ScanArena cloud service that receives your documents.

You can deny or revoke permissions in your device settings. Some features will not work without the related permission.

5. On-device processing

Document capture, page enhancement, text recognition, search indexing, and app lock verification run on your device. ScanArena is built to keep this processing local. The App does not upload your documents to Kothok Soft for processing.

6. Sharing

ScanArena does not share your documents with Kothok Soft. If you use Export or Share, the files you choose are handed to the Android share sheet or another app you select (for example email, messaging, or cloud storage apps). Those third-party apps have their own privacy policies.

Google Play and your device manufacturer may process limited technical information related to app installation, updates, crash reports you choose to send through the platform, or other platform services under their own policies.

7. Children

ScanArena is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us by email, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data retention

Because ScanArena stores content on your device, retention is controlled by you. Delete documents in the App, clear app data, or uninstall ScanArena to remove local data. Emails you send to support are retained only as long as needed to respond and maintain ordinary business records.

9. Security

We design ScanArena to keep your documents on-device. Optional app lock adds a barrier when the App returns to the foreground. No method of electronic storage is perfectly secure; protect your device with its own lock screen and keep the App updated.

10. International users

ScanArena processes data on the device where the App is installed. If you contact us, your message may be received in the country where we operate support.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of ScanArena after an update means you accept the revised policy.
