ScanArena is an offline document scanner. Your scans stay on your phone. No account is required.
Scan a document
- Tap Scan on the home screen.
- Choose Document scanner (best quality), Camera, or Import from gallery.
- Capture one or more pages, then continue to review.
- Apply filters, reorder or delete pages, then Save or Save & Share.
Search your library
- Use the search bar on the home screen.
- Search matches titles, tags, and text recognized on your device.
- Tap a result to open the document at the matching page.
- New scans may show Indexing… until text recognition finishes in the background.
Organize documents
- Star favorites from the library or document detail screen.
- Filter the home library by Favorites or a folder.
- Open a document to set its folder or tags.
Export and share
- From review or document detail, use Save & Share or Export.
- Choose PDF (multi-page) or JPG (single page).
- Change the default export format and image quality in Settings.
App lock
- Open Settings → App lock.
- Choose None, PIN, Password, or Biometrics (if your device supports it).
- ScanArena locks when you leave the app and asks you to unlock on return.
- PIN and password stay on this device only.
Appearance
- Open Settings → Appearance.
- Choose System, Light, or Dark. System follows your device theme.
Privacy
- Documents, thumbnails, and recognized text are stored locally.
- Scanning and text recognition run on your device.
- Read the full Privacy Policy.
Troubleshooting
- If the document scanner fails, use Camera or gallery import from the scan menu.
- Grant Camera and Photos permissions when prompted, or open your device Settings.
- Free up storage space if save fails.
- If biometrics fail, unlock with your PIN or password, or turn App lock off in Settings.
